Philodendron 'Florida Green' is a fast-growing aroid with gorgeous green leaves that become heavily dissected as the vine matures. This plant is likely a hybrid between Philodendron squamiferum and P. pedatum. The Philodendron Florida (Philodendron pedatum) comes from the plant family Araceae. The unique plant is an evergreen hybrid and it's a vine climber.In fact, the name “Philodendron” means tree hugger in Greek. The stems are a lot longer than other Philodendron plants.
Basic Care
Give your Philodendron Florida Green lots of bright, indirect light. An east-facing window is ideal, but avoid harsh, direct sunlight, which can burn the leaves and harm the plant.
Keep the soil of your philodendron Florida Green moist but not soggy. Water deeply when the top inch or so of soil begins to dry out, then allow it to drain well.
