Scindapsus Sparkling Lava
This cultivar is known to have been found in the region of Sumatra, Indonesia. It was brought to the Philippines, and was then acquired and cultivated by Alicia Quintana of Angeles City, Pampanga, as Scindapsus pictus exotica aurea variegata. This cultivar is characterized by what seems to be dry brush strokes of pastel yellow coming from the midrib across the margins, and could oftentimes have larger streaks that appear to be sectoral variegations, all of which strikes as lava spewing out of the crackling surface of the Earth’s crust.
